No Brand is an Island by Robert D. Smith
I was very excited to hear about Robert D. Smith’s new book, No Brand is an Island. I know the importance of a good brand, as well as having good people around you. I was interested in hearing Robert’s perspective, as I knew he would have some excellent advice.
Here’s how Robert describes his new book:
If you’re working on building your personal brand as an author, blogger, speaker, entrepreneur, coach, etc., I wrote this for YOU—regardless of what stage you are in.
You do NOT have to have a “big” business or brand to start implementing the strategies inside.
No Brand Is an Island contains many of the things I have learned in my 30+ years as manager for New York Times best-selling author and speaker Andy Andrews.
Things like:
How to build a team of awesome people around your brand without spending a ton of money (and why this is essential to your survival)
Why you MUST learn how to treat yourself like a product
How to craft a mission statement that actually means something
The easiest (and kind of silly) way to make tough decisions about your career and brand
A complete breakdown of my monthly, quarterly, and yearly review methods for reviewing the financial side of Andy’s brand (you can easily apply this to your own)
How to know whether you can trust someone or not
Here’s the great news: Robert’s book is FREE for the next few days. I picked it up, and am finding great value in it already. I haven’t made it all the way through it, but I wanted to be sure and share it with you first.
You can pick up your copy on Amazon here. Remember, even if you don’t have a Kindle, you can download the app for your phone or PC for free. Be sure to share this with others as well, and once you’ve read it, leave a quick review.
Within the book, there is also a free audio download, which I am looking forward to. If you’ve ever heard Robert speak, you know that he is full of energy and enthusiasm, and I can’t wait to listen to him read it.
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks for the recommendation, Tammy! Just picked it up!
You’re welcome!
Thanks so much for sharing this!
I downloaded it and I’m so glad I did. It’s a must read. I’m only a few chapters in and I have already learned a lot. Thanks for the suggestion!
